I like this, and I like imagining the sounds coming from it.

I like these new ones a lot. I keep finding faces in them as I stare.

This somehow slipped under my radar.
I peeled one of these off of deviantart and hacked it with photoshop. better maybe? [link]
it might be too dark. The camera flash always eats away all color and detail from my stuff.

Even though the flash washed some of this out, it seems a lot more bold than most of your work. It might just be me, but yeah.

thats a little darker and more saturated than in real life, but you made that flash your bitch. how the hell did you do that?

I think I'm finally starting to narrow down where and when my weird washes are appropriate, this paintin' here has a pretty equal balance of all the different things I use, markers, pens, paint, paint washes. the washes leave things dreamy, the markers and pens chisel them back into the here and now.

I went to adjustments, then curves. There will be a square with a diagonal line from lower left to upper right. You click on the line right in the center and then pull the line about halfway (or maybe a bit less) to the lower right corner.

It sounds like you're getting down what amounts of each technique it takes to get a certain effect. I know you won't balance them too much though, because it seems one thing we have in common is that we are always trying new things.

That curves thing would have been damned helpful with internet flyer projects.

Speaking of new things, I drew some stuff with a pencil yesterday! I honestly don't think I've even held a pencil for a few years. It was a nearly alien experience in permanence and planning.
